The SI-7035-1 provides a single upconverter channel in a dual-slot 3U CompactPCIâ (cPCI) package. The upconverter accepts either a 20 MHz baseband input or a 70 MHz IF input and provides a 20 to 3000 MHz RF output signal with a 30 MHz instantaneous bandwidth. The specification compliant linear RF output level of the upconverter is -10 dBm. The output level can be as high as 0 dBm with slightly degraded spurious performance.
The upconverter’s design achieves minimum tuning speeds of 500 microseconds. The SI-7035-1 upconverter, with its low phase noise synthesizers and low noise output, is ideally suited for use as a calibration source or as the analog upconversion stage of an arbitrary waveform generator in a variety of system solutions.

The SI-9250-CPCI is a SHF block downconverter packaged in a single slot 6U cPCI form factor. It provides coverage of RF signals in the range of 0.5 to 18 GHz. The SI-9250-CPCI utilizes both microstrip and coplanar waveguide elements as well as MMIC amplifiers, frequency multipliers, and mixers. The design utilizes the latest in miniature, surface mount components to achieve a high level of integration. A combination of a machine-milled chassis and printed circuit card assemblies with a continuous ground plane shield provide RF shielding and isolation. The front-panel SMA connectors offer easy interconnection for the RF input, IF output, and reference frequency signals.

The SI-9135-1 is a single-channel 3U CompactPCI (cPCI) tuner that provides conversion of RF signals between 20 and 3000 MHz to an analog IF output centered at 70 MHz with an instantaneous bandwidth of 30 MHz. The tuner has a minimum tuning speed of 500 microseconds, performing fixed tuning with a resolution of 100 kHz and frequency scanning with a resolution of 1 MHz. Its small size, weight and power make it ideal for systems having limited space. Optimized to interface with Analog Devices AD664X wideband analog-to-digital converters, the SI-9135-1 makes available scan-friendly tune strobe/ trigger inputs and outputs that can speed frequency transitions during channel step or F1-to-F2 sweep operations. The SI-9135-1’s internal local oscillator distribution (LOD) mechanism allows it to share 1st and 2nd LOs with other SI-9135-1 tuners without an external LO distribution module. This makes possible a configuration of nine phase-coherent channels. These operational features and the SI-9135-1’s preselector, low phase noise synthesizers, channel-to-channel phase tracking, and excellent dynamic range make it ideal for signal intercept or beamforming systems.
